Chuck E. Cheese

I love that Cara is smiling for the camera
perfectly, while I am all distracted by the screen

Easter Madness

Easter was a madhouse! I'm not sure if the kids really did outnumber the adults, but I had the distinct feeling that the inmates were running the asylum. With a couple more of these kids on the way, I don't know how long we'll be able to pretend that the adults are in charge.

Cara's Nana and Grandpa came up and spent the day, which was very exciting for everyone. Cara got to spend the day with them and all of her cousins and having them here freed Brigid and I up to focus on the cooking and clean up.

It was such an exciting day, that Cara actually went to a single nap instead of her normal two. That meant by the end of the day she was as tired as me and Brigid -- finally!

Gigantic Easter Basket
Some may say that Nana and Grandpa went crazy on the Easter basket.
Actually, everyone would say that but Cara, who thought it was perfect
to have a basket as tall as she was full of stuffed animals, books, and snacks.

Nana and Cara explore Easter basket
Breaking into this was as fun as playing with the toys!

Cara looks at basket in amazement
"Woh! It talks!"

Cara digs into basket

Should we worry?

Should we have the drug talk this early?

You can put your weed in there!

Bottom Choppers

Cara is sporting six teeth now. She loves to show them off, as we can see the bottom two very well here.
